This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of tax-related transactions, including real estate, fund formation, and REITs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in tax law, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of handling both team-based and independent responsibilities.Location:Irvine, CADuties:Assist with a range of transactional tax matters, including real estate transactions, fund formation, and REITs.Provide legal advice and draft memoranda and written opinions on tax-related matters.Analyze tax issues and develop strategies related to partnership tax, investment funds, and real estate.Work collaboratively with other attorneys and clients to manage complex tax transactions.Handle individual responsibilities while contributing to team-oriented projects.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client transactions and tax planning.Requirements:1-3 years of transactional tax experience.Demonstrated interest in tax transactions, with relevant coursework such as partnership tax.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including experience drafting legal memoranda and advice.Ability to manage both individual projects and work effectively within a team.Experience with partnership tax, investment funds, REITs, and/or real estate transactions is preferred.Admission to the State Bar of California.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.LL.M. in Taxation candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar is required.Skills:Strong legal research, drafting, and writing skills.Ability to manage complex tax transactions and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Benefits:Salary based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package, including health and retirement plans.Professional development opportunities within a collaborative and supportive tax practice.
