Junior Software QA Test Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Junior Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer in Irvine, California (CA).Summary:This is a junior position in Software Test Engineering. Software testing of customer facing Web application software, developed by our client. The job includes creating test documents and test execution throughout the software life-cycle.Position assignments:Duties involved testing of the Client developed software, working with the project team: Test, analyze and troubleshoot software issue Collaborate closely with the software test and team in Irvine, and development team either in-house or outsourced Early software engineering will be done with an Agile development environmentNECESSARY SKILLS: BS in Computer Science or related position 1- 3yrs of background in QA/Test Engineering Working background with Test Automation Excellent attention to info - a must Hands on background with Web/Mobile application testing Working background in creating detailed test cases based on test basis Working background in documenting detailed bug reports Working background with following QA Test Strategy and Test Matrix documents Working background with current QA management tools (defect tracking, report generation) such as JIRA, TestRail Working background with Windows O/S Working background with Microsoft office suite applications Expertise to operate independently, effectively managing your time to meet product delivery and quality objectives Proven expertise to communicate effectively (oral, written and via email) Strong analytical, issue solving, decision-making and negotiating skills Good people skills: teamwork, respect, tact and discretion Demonstrate a positive attitude even under pressureOptional Qualifications:Familiarity with: Adobe Lightroom Machine Learning and AIKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
