We are a small and growing firm, specializing in three areas: Personal Injury, First Amendment, and Employment Law. A qualified candidate must have hands-on experience in Personal Injury and Employment Law.Please note this is a REMOTE POSITION, not an In Firm position. Apply only if you prefer this work arrangement. Part-time applicants will be considered as well.It is essential that a candidate have excellent writing and drafting skills. New Jersey and New York admission required.Responsibilities Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys. Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action. Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently. Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.Qualifications Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school. Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients. Successful completion of the bar exam. Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base.Compensation$40 - $60 depending on experience.We are a dynamic firm practicing cutting-edge Social Media Law, Constitutional Law, Internet Defamation, Personal Injury, and Employment. Our successful candidate will have a passion for all things related to the First Amendment and defamation.
