SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE T he Junior Account Manager works with the Senior Account Manager on tasks to support assigned customers. They are responsible for managing customers through the S&OP which includes overseeing customer purchase orders, material demands, timing and other specific customer requirements to meet successful production schedule and timing. The Junior Account Manager will work with the Bright cross-functional teams to make sure the customer expectations are being met. This includes production timing, fill orders completely, staying within in scrap allowances and posting production on time. Over time the Junior Account Manager will be responsible for managing a specific customer and/or products for a specific line. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Oversee multiple client service tasks associated with the S&OP Receipt of customer PO's and forecasts, ensure they are the correct MOQs (Minimum Order Quantity) and in full shipper quantities Create Sales Orders in Deacom Ensure Pricing is correct Review and follow up on components and raw materials with the customer, receiving and purchasing Posting of all previous day production by designated times each day, both AM and PM New Product ECN's created, tracked, and sent to appropriate team for finished good creation Request for set up new components in Deacom Create jobs for the following week's production pull, ensuring all components are supported. Assist the team to send out the pull when complete both water based and production documents Responsible for customer satisfaction by ensuring quality and service delivery. Includes excellent follow up skills to all requests in a timely manner. Attend production and scheduling meetings internally. Attend S&OP meetings with Senior Account Manager and customers Understand customer demand needs and by production line what can be completed weekly. Proactively bring up an issues with forecasts to meet capacity requirements to the team Assist the Senior Account Manager with new product launches within their customer's portfolio - mostly consisting of product or fragrance extensions. Identify milestones and timing (i.e., pricing, formulation and item number set-up), manage material liabilities and control customer owned inventory Track and understand KPIs both internally and externally Maintain database and system integrity to support internal and external reporting in Deacom and SAP Be curious, accountable and willing to learn, ask questions and assist in providing process improvement opportunities COMPETENCIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned. TRAVEL Travel is not required for this position REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE INSERT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, comprehend, and retain instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence including emails. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Bilingual a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Excellent Excel skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to problem solve, research, and provide recommendations. ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
