Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license Location: Onsite (5 days per week in Washington, DC) Clearance: Active Top Secret National Security Clearance with the ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Job Description: The Jr. System Administrator focusing on PKI will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operation of PKI systems and services. This includes managing the lifecycle of digital certificates and keys, ensuring the availability and integrity of the PKI environment, and providing technical support to users and stakeholders. The System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, to support business processing requirements. This role involves performing software installations and upgrades to both operating systems and layered software packages. Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply. A dministrative level experience and skills within multiple of the following domains: - VPN, PKI, and Encryption - Firewalls and Networking Infrastructure - Managed Security Services SOC Functions- Identity & Access Management authentication tools - Malware and Endpoint Detection & Response - Cloud Security - Security Orchestration and Automation - Visualization & Containers - Governance, Risk, & Compliance Demonstrated success supporting complex projects. Provide guidance to key stakeholders on PKI lifecycle, processes, and procedures PKI administrative experience with computer security, specifically in Windows/LINUX OS environment Experience with implementing and maintaining enterprise scale Identity and Access Management solutions using internally created and off the shelf products Ability to utilize existing documentation to install and configure server hardware and applications/programs. Ability to facilitate customer service activities including working incidents and service request. Ability to address customer trouble tickets in a timely manner. Issue PKI PINs, assist with downloads, revocations of PKI certificates, and troubleshooting for users. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 ticketing support for all customer-facing services Desired Skills: 3 years of experience with enterprise class security technologies. 2 years of work experience in services consulting delivering security projects for clients. 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field such as Public Key Infrastructure, Infrastructure IT (Systems Administration, Network Administration Windows/Linux OS, Network Administration, Active Directory, and/or Virtualization. Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework. Experience with Service Manager or other Help Desk ticketing systems Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage the organization's PKI infrastructure, including certificate authorities (CAs), registration authorities (RAs), and other related components. Oversee the issuance, renewal, revocation, and lifecycle management of digital certificates. Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the PKI environment by implementing best practices and monitoring tools. Ensure that PKI systems comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, such as NIST guidelines, FIPS, and others. Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the PKI environment to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Maintain detailed documentation of PKI processes, configurations, and procedures, ensuring alignment with security policies and compliance requirements. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for PKI-related issues, working closely with IT, cybersecurity, and other teams to resolve incidents. Respond to and resolve user and system issues related to certificate management, authentication, and encryption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI solutions with other enterprise systems, including identity management, authentication, and encryption services. Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on PKI-related tools and processes. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to PKI and cryptographic key management. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing related to PKI infrastructure.
