SSVEC is a not for profit, memberâowned distribution cooperative providing electricity to more than 60,000 services over some 4,100 miles of energized line. Located in southeastern Arizona. SSVEC is dedicated to community growth, quality of life and a positive vision for the future. Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Joint Use Administrator. The Joint Use Administrator (JU Admin) administers the day-to-day operations of joint use attachments of telephone, cable TV, and fiber optic communication companies onto SSVEC owned poles or facilities by external communications. This role ensures sustained joint use revenue, supports contract negotiations, and oversees the compliance and billing aspects of joint use agreements. The JU Admin acts as a liaison between external joint use companies, internal departments, and regulatory authorities, ensuring all operations adhere to applicable laws, rules, and safety standards. The essential functions listed below are general examples and not a description of comprehensive duties. Conducts required field inspections to verify attachment ownership, ensure compliance with standards and codes, identify safety issues, and perform loading calculations if required. Field inspections include postconstruction reviews of joint use projects, including transfers, retirements, and topped pole projects, with documentation maintained in SSVEC systems. Coordinates external agreements and contracts with the engineering group, legal counsel, and outside agencies, while partnering with finance/accounting to determine annual pole rental rates and support the billing/collection process with technical insights. Processes and administers pole transfers, modification requests, violation reporting, and follows up on timers outlined in the permitted joint use agreement contract. Manages and administers joint use master agreement contract documents utilizing the AldenOne or current SSVEC joint use tracking system. Qualifications: An Associates certificate from a two-year college or university with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline. Valid Arizona driver's license. All offers of employment are contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen, criminal and driving background, and employment reference checks.
