Janitor Location: White Plains, Maryland Job Type: Part Time Responsibilities: Included but not limited to: Clean Restroom, Office space, stairwells, elevator, lobby and conference room on each schedule cleaning day Trash shall be collected from all rooms and disposed in the dumpster or designated area Restroom including drinking fountains; Fixtures, metal chrome surfaces, doorplates, water closets, urinal, washbasin, shower stalls, drinking fountains, mirrors, shelving and dispensers shall be cleaned with a disinfectant cleaner and maintain a high level of luster, if applicable, and be free of dust, mold, mildew, streaks, rust, and encrustation Drinking fountains shall be clean and free from encrustation with no mineral of calcium buildup on bubbler Office Space (includes private and shared offices, conference rooms, quiet room, copy/supply and research lab): be free of obvious surface dust, dirt, debris, carpet stains, trash, steaks and smudges and present an overall appearance of cleanliness Carpeted areas and molding shall be clean and free dust balls, visible dirt and other debris Vacuuming and spot cleaning shall be done at a frequency as specified in the manufacturer's recommendations (medium traffic level) that will prolong wear Glass doors shall be clean and free of fingerprints, obvious dirt, dust, grime, streaks, cloudiness and smudges Corner, crevices, molding, and ledges shall be free of all dust Appliances shall be cleaned as needed to be free of dirt, grime, encrustation, smudges, streaks and fingerprints. Qualifications and Requirements At least one year of experience High School diploma Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Able to perform physical duties including standing, reaching, lifting and moving objects up to 30lbs OSHA Knowledge SRL Total Source, LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
