We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitor to join our team and contribute to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that we pride ourselves on. Job Summary: The Janitor will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This role involves routine cleaning duties, handling waste, and ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies. Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors. Maintain and clean floors, including vacuuming carpets and polishing hard floors. Clean and sanitize office equipment, including telephones, keyboards, and other surfaces. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor or facilities manager. Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Respond to urgent cleaning requests and special cleaning projects as needed. Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintenance to ensure consistency and efficiency. Qualifications: Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements: Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Must be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor areas.
