Janitor/Housekeeper Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. (Mallory CHC ) is currently accepting applications for the JANITOR/HOUSEKEEPER position. We are actively searching for a janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out janitorial/housekeeping duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Duties and Responsibilities: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming Gather and empty trash Service, clean, and supply restrooms Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, etc. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications Steam-clean or shampoo carpets Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors Perform other necessary duties as required by Mallory CHC to meet the goals of providing primary health care Minimum Qualifications & Skills Requirements: Must possess at least one year experience in janitorial/housekeeping skills High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able AND willing to travel, if needed, to Canton, Durant, Greenwood, Lexington and/or Tchula Benefits Package Includes: Health (Medical) Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life and AD&D Insurance Ancillary Benefits (Accident, Cancer, Disability, Critical Illness, Whole Life, Term Life, and Hospital Confinement) Holiday Pay Vacation and Sick Leave Package Retirement Plan Professional Liability Insurance Coverage Student Loan Forgiveness Program Incentive Production Bonus Paid Professional Membership Fee Allowance Continuing Education Leave and Training Education Allowance Guaranteed Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8am to 5pm and Fri 8am-2pm In addition, your compensation package includes the following - Health insurance paid up to 85%, 403B Retirement Plan, Free Basic Life and AD&D Insurance, MCHC Employee Patient Privileges, Free Employee Assistance Program: "WorkLife Matter" Access (Telehealth), Legal Assistance Services, and Identity Protective Monitoring Services and more.
