Inventory Planning - Senior Consultant
Position detailsAs the Inventory Planning Senior Consultant, you will report to the Senior Manager of Inventory Replenishment and will work alongside other Supply Chain Planners in a support role. You will execute business plans within our Omni-Channel area that achieve enterprise goals including sales, margin, in-stock, turn, fill rate, customer satisfaction and GMROII. You will also be working collaboratively with cross functional internal and external partners to deliver results and ensure outcomes.Additional responsibilities of the Inventory Planning Senior Consultant:- Collaborate with internal and external partners on product flow, item forecasts, seasonal/promo plans, and new item launches- Knowledge of SQL coding and analytical based decision-making- Results driven and strong time management/organization skills with a desire to work in a quick paced environment- Background in inventory management, merchandising, or supply-chain managementPreferred Requirements- Support the achievement of inventory targets, service metrics and enterprise EBIT goals- Strong people skills with the expertise to build strong relationships and contribute in a team setting- Establish effective partnerships with the vendor community to capitalize on supply chain product flow opportunities- Bachelor's degree preferred- Perform Supply Chain flow disruption analyses and take proactive measures to minimize or eliminate availability issues- Curiosity to explore and identify insights that result in the development of actionable strategies and tactical plansEducation- Proficient in Ms word, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook- Expertise to receive feedback and adapt behaviors and plans accordinglyMinimum requirements- Execute inventory processes ensuring consistency and the active sharing of knowledge across the planning community- 1+ years of background in inventory management, merchandising, or supply-chain management- High-school degree or equivalent- Background using a forecasting and replenishment software package, such as JDABusiness OverviewIt's a new day in health care.Combining CVS Health and Aetna was a transformative moment for our company and our industry, establishing CVS Health as the nation's premier health innovation company.
