Employbridge Search Group has a client in the Florence, NJ area who is looking for an Inventory Manager to join their team. This is a client who is growing and expanding, which will offer room for growth, competitive salary and benefits! Job Duties * Responsible for leading and directing all inventory management activities across and between distribution locations. * Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows within the inventory department * Train, mentor and develop an inventory team * Build a culture of accountability, teamwork and always improving to help employees advance in their career * Utilize inventory management software and systems, prefer someone who is an ERP and/or WMS Superuser * Standardize inventory control and cycle counting processes to maximize efficiency, productivity and reduce waste. * Develop, implement and maintain inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels * Broaden inventory forecasting across the company * Manage and monitor accurate inventory records and documentation * Develop, implement and maintain inventory procedures and policies, such as cycle counting, physical inventory, etc. * Manage inventory levels, as well as audits for the company * Utilize lean manufacturing to continuously improve inventory control processes * Identify and address root causes of inventory issues and implement corrective action plans to alleviate issues in the future * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred, but not required * 5+ years of leadership within an inventory control role within manufacturing or distribution is required * Must have well rounded experience in inventory management systems or ERP/WMS * Capable of training and mentoring an inventory team * Strong analytical skills * Proficient in Microsoft Suite * Familiar with regulatory and compliance requirements are related to inventory
