As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced Cycle Counter to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure inventory accuracy through random cycle counts on a daily, monthly and/or quarterly basis and to ensure and maintain accurate records of in-stock/out-stock products and services. This position reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor. This position is for the afternoon shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) What you will be doing: Responsible for cycle count maintenance parts inventory as required. Ensure there are accurate inventory levels, and discrepancies are immediately reported to the Plant Management and investigation. Utilize CMMS software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity and create reports. Ensure parts are in proper locations and conduct searches for misclassified inventory. Performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them. Verify parts received are being consolidated and put away accurately. Maintain parts identification, location, and labels. Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve inventory accuracy.
