UVA Health Charlottesville Full Time Hours: Flexible Hours 100% Clinical Employed New Graduates Average Patients seen: Varies Call Schedule: 2-4 weeks/year depending on other clinical duties Loan Repayment Sign-On Bonus Compensation: - $194k to $252kMarket Competitive Salary Benefits: - Start-up incentives, which may include medical education debt assistance and residency stipends- $5,000 relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles- Robust retirement plan and match- Generous benefits and paid time off- Paid CME- In-house for certification/recertification (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and others)- Annual certification pay up to $300 Additional Info: The Department of Medicine's Division of General, Geriatric, Palliative, and HospitalMedicine at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for tenure ineligible assistant professor positions to provide care at University Physicians Charlottesville practice located in Charlottesville, VA.Job Details:- Join a staff of 8 providers- Support staff includes Care Coordinator RN's, Pharm D Support, LPN's & MA's, Clerical Support.- Diagnosis and management of common medical conditions and disease prevention.- Supervision and teaching of medical residents during their primary care blocks or ambulatorymedical rotations.-Attending on the general medicine inpatient unit at the University of Virginia Health System two to four weeks per year may be an option for the interested physician.- Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and financial resources available!- Teaching residents and seeing patients
