The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for those who have dealt with complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters from the policyholder's perspective. This role involves managing insurance recovery cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.Duties:Handle complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters on behalf of policyholders.Offer legal guidance on insurance recovery strategies, policy interpretations, and related issues.Draft, review, and file various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advice.Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop and implement effective legal solutions.Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends affecting insurance recovery.Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance coverage and recovery matters.Preferred experience in handling complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling from the policyholder's side.Strong understanding of insurance policies and relevant legal issues.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proven experience in managing complex insurance coverage litigation.Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice on insurance matters.Proficiency in legal research and drafting of legal documents.Effective negotiation and representation skills in various legal proceedings.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Benefits Offered:Comprehensive health care plan.Retirement plan.Paid time off, including PTO, parental leave, and short/long term disability.
