Job Overview:Hall Griffin LLP is looking for an experienced attorney licensed in California with 4+ years' experience to handle insurance defense matters throughout the state, including defense of bodily injury, premises liability, auto/trucking collisions, wrongful death, and/or catastrophic injury. Bar licenses in additional jurisdictions are a plus and the ideal candidate will have jury trial experience (first or second chair). The firm offers hands-on experience with matters from day one and a team of partners, senior associates, and paralegals to support you in a collaborative work environment. The firm also offers the opportunity to practice in and/or learn one or more of the other areas in which the firm practices, including business litigation, real estate, and more.Job Duties Include: Handling litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision, including discovery, site inspections, issue analysis, depositions, expert retention, expert discovery, and settlement. Independent handling of court appearances, depositions, and hearings. Working collaboratively with a team to accomplish other client and firm objectives.Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. 4+ years Insurance Defense Experience. Admission to the California State Bar. Strong research and writing skills for effective legal representation. Familiarity with legal databases such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
