This role is ideal for proactive, strategic professionals adept in all litigation stages, from research and discovery to representation in court and mediation.Duties:Conduct thorough legal research and in-depth analysis to support insurance litigation cases.Draft a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring precision and clarity.Represent clients during court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Oversee a diverse caseload, managing each case effectively and efficiently.Collaborate closely with partners on intricate litigation matters, contributing strategic insights.Engage in frequent and clear communication with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, and other relevant parties.Participate actively in strategic discussions and contribute to case planning and resolution approaches.Requirements:5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, particularly in the commercial insurance sector.Proven expertise in all phases of complex litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, depositions, and mediation.Comprehensive knowledge of various types of insurance coverage such as commercial general liability, pollution liability, marine, directors and officers, professional liability, and errors and omissions.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.Certifications:Active membership with the Minnesota State Bar.Skills:Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.High organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects and caseloads.Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and efficiency.Proficiency in developing and implementing legal strategies tailored to client needs.Job Location:Minneapolis, MN
