Insurance Claims Specialist - Roofing Position Overview Join our growing team as an Insurance Claims Specialist, specializing in roofing and exterior remodeling projects. You'll serve as the key liaison between homeowners, insurance adjusters, and our internal teams while managing projects from start to finish. This role combines customer advocacy, insurance expertise, project management, and payment processing, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities Guide homeowners through the entire insurance claims process with excellent communication Review and analyze initial insurance estimates for accuracy and underpaid items Resubmit denied claims and partial approvals Identify and document code upgrades and other claim enhancements to maximize settlements Create detailed supplements using Xactimate, including material and labor costs Advocate for customers during insurance adjuster negotiations Process and track insurance payments, deductibles, and supplemental claims Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances Handle all claim documentation, including photos, estimates, and supporting materials Ensure compliance with current building codes and industry regulations Maintain detailed records in our CRM system and provide regular updates to all stakeholders Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in insurance claims for exterior remodeling Proficiency in Xactimate and CRM systems Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and industry trends Experience with payment processing and collections Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Proven track record in insurance claim negotiations Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience: starting at $52,000 salary plus commissions and bonuses Comprehensive health insurance and retirement plans Career advancement opportunities Collaborative, growth-focused work environment In-office position with our dynamic team Interested candidates please apply with resume and brief cover letter describing your relevant experience.
