Our successful candidate is a highly organized, efficient problem solver who takes a customer service representative approach to invoicing, reconciling billing issues, and more. Successful candidates must maintain accurate financial records through meticulous accounting and oversee outstanding balances to ensure clients pay as billed. Responsibilities: • Field customer and colleague questions about account activity, status, and outstanding balances• Review client bills for accuracy and completeness and proactively obtain any missing payer information for inclusion• Prepare invoices, reconcile billing, compile reports and other documents using billing software, and field related questions from internal teams and customers • Work proactively to resolve and resubmit unpaid, rejected, or denied insurance claims• Issue refunds, transfer of responsibility, and adjustments, as needed, and update accounting records Qualifications: • Evidence of success meeting firm deadlines and proactively seeking results is necessary• Must have a basic understanding of financial fundamentals including accounting, billing, and collections processes• Experience using financial management software is required • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research to rectify collections, discrepancies, and denials• Accounts receivable, billing, data entry, and customer service experience is beneficial• Must live within daily driving distance of the office• Must have working rights in the USA• Accounts receivable management experience required, quickbooks a plus Compensation: $55,000 - $69,000 plus benefits About Company: We are a full-service environmental testing and consulting company servicing Southern California.
