Work Arrangement: Hybrid Department: Enterprise Risk Department Overview Pembina’s Insurance Team is responsible for providing insurance expertise within the organization, ensuring optimal risk transfer strategies are utilized for the design and placement of the corporate insurance program. The team is recruiting for an Analyst, Insurance who will report to the Manager, Enterprise Risk in the Safety Service Unit, part of Pembina’s External Affairs Division. The External Affairs Service Unit brings together Safety, Land, Regulatory, Environment, Legal, Communications and Government Relations to provide essential services to projects and to ongoing Pembina business. In addition to this group effectively mobilizes project support across while ensuring proper governance and controls are in place. Responsibilities Play a key role in the annual renewal process through participation in renewal strategy sessions, compilation of the underwriting information package and marketing trip presentation; Provide insurance expertise to internal stakeholders as required on day-to-day matters; Prepare reports and presentations for senior management; Manage policy documentation and process the corresponding invoicing; Coordinate risk control surveys and manage the closure of risk recommendations; Support the claims process from initial stages to completion, working with internal stakeholders, adjusters and forensic accountants to maximize receipt of recoveries; May perform other duties or tasks as assigned; and Participate and support a diverse and inclusive work environment. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related post-secondary education; 5+ years of experience within a relevant insurance, brokerage or risk management environment; or a combination of formal education and experience; Completion or working toward a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and/or Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation an asset; Strong proficiency with Microsoft.
