Instructional Specialist (Correctional Facility) (ABE & GED)

Description:
The Instructional Specialist will provide basic education in Reading, English, Math and GED preparation to adult students located in a correctional facility setting. This individual will provide appropriate support services for Adult Basic Education (ABE) students by administering prescribed diagnostics tests, identifying appropriate curriculum, and delivering quality classroom instruction that supports the goals of each student. This individual will also work closely with other Adult Education staff to identify appropriate goals for each student and to ensure that program goals are being met. Note: This position is funded under an agreement with Department of Corrections. Employment contingent upon continued funding.
