Inside Sales Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY The Inside Sales Specialist's primary responsibility focuses on executing and facilitating customer orders and quote requests. Execution and communication are critical to retaining our customers by delivering great experience in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Answer and direct incoming phone calls (can be up to 50 a day) Work with customers to determine products that best fit their application Assist with customer quotations, issuing and processing returns, and customer order issues or concerns Perform a variety of customer service and administrative tasks (i.e., scanning, filing, ) Assist with processing online orders and shipments Quote and book shipments for customer orders REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience High School Diploma or equivalent (required), Associate's or Bachelor's in business, marketing, or related fields (preferred) Experience working with an accounting and/or ERP database Excellent sales and negotiation skills Organized with attention to detail Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Outlook and Excel) Self-motivated, team player, quick learner, driven to excel with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task in a busy sales office is essential A pleasant phone voice and easy-going personality Prior experience in the manufacturing industry or related field is highly preferred Bilingual - Spanish (preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements for this position are typical for a sedentary office environment, including considerable time spent in a stationary position at a desk using a computer terminal and keyboard. Movement about the office and standing are required occasionally. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment for this position is typical for an office, including protection from weather conditions and typical office equipment noise.
