Job overview We are currently seeking an Inside Account Manager for our K-12 Education accounts. This position is located at our headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon and will report to the General Manager of our sales department. The right applicant for this position will be a motivated self-starter, with the expertise to grow an account base of K-12 Education customers, through inside telephone sales and occasional face-to-face customer meetings. Responsibilities and Duties This position is part of our inside US K-12 Education Sales team and reports to our General Manager of Sales. Responsible for developing relationships with prospective customers while successfully maintaining existing customer relationships. Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and technology and equipment/needs. Become a subject matter expert on our products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news: specifically, G-Suite, Chrome for signage, Hangouts Meet, and Chrome OS. Maintain regular, direct contact with customers at all levels, working closely with K-12 EdTech purchasers, influencers, and decision makers. Follow up on inbound leads from our website, trade shows, and other marketing activities. Respond to customers' needs and follow through on all aspects of requests, including resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner. Successfully manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success. Responsible for entering all customer purchase orders and maintaining accurate customer database info. Manage prospecting status and forecasting in Salesforce. Conduct phone, video, and occasional in-person meetings and presentations to current and prospective customers. Requirements and Skills We're looking for a person who has had prior success selling IT hardware to K-12 Education customers. Specific experience in EdTech Account Management and selling Google Chrome devices and licenses is highly desirable. This position will have a high-level of autonomy and the right applicant will be able to meet sales goals with limited supervision on a day to day basis. The expertise to provide excellent customer service to existing accounts as well as to independently develop new business from identifying prospects and cold calling is very important. Prior CRM experience is prefered. Salesforce experience preferred. Environment Job category: This is a full time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, eight a.m. to five p.m. Travel: this position does not typically require travel This position operates in a professional office environment, but our dress code is casual to business casual.
