Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Medical Coder to join their team of coding professionals. Key Responsibilities Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex inpatient visits Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) teams on coding accuracy and compliance Utilize coding software and guidelines to ensure correct reimbursement and quality metrics Required Qualifications A minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience in an Academic Medical Center Current CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT certification Experience with 3M 360 CAC software is required Knowledge of MS-DRG's, APR-DRG's, and AHRQ Elixhauser risk adjustment Ability to work in a fully remote environment and manage multiple projects effectively
