STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and IndiaWe are seeking a detail-oriented Information Systems Assistant with a foundational background in computer operations, system monitoring, and data processing to join our team. This role will support the maintenance and operation of our computer systems, perform backups and recovery, and assist with hardware and software management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of relevant experience and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: * Operate, monitor, and coordinate data processing tasks, word processing, and system functions. * Maintain both hardware and software, ensuring the reliability and functionality of all systems. * Perform regular backup and recovery procedures to ensure data security and system integrity. * Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, including inventory tracking, electronic calendar management, and database file maintenance. * Assist in purchasing computer hardware components to support the organization's technology needs.Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in data processing, word processing, computer operations, system monitoring, or advanced-level office work involving computer equipment. * Hardware and Software Maintenance: Minimum of one year of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software. * Backup and Recovery: Minimum of one year of experience in backup and recovery procedures. * Reporting and Documentation: Minimum of one year of experience preparing detailed and accurate reports, including inventory, calendar management, and database maintenance. * Hardware Purchasing: Minimum of one year of experience with purchasing computer hardware. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with project managers, business analysts, database administrators, and policy staff.Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $35 - $85/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
