Infant Room Teacher

Description:
Perform a variety of tasks, such as caring for infants throughout the day, feeding, changing of diapers, interacting with lesson planning, classroom observation, maintaining ratios, teamwork skills, oversee children at play, and safety of children.Responsibilities Regulate children's rest periods. Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children. Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs. Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas. Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits. Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention. Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered. Sanitize toys and play equipment. Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Maintain a safe play environment.Requirements High school diploma or GED 1-2 years Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Background Check Stand long periods Authorized to work in US Weekdays Weekends Morning DayBenefits Paid Time Off Retirement Benefits Education Assistance Child CareSalary: $15.00 per hour
