$22 - $38 an hour - Full-time Summary: Maintenance technicians install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Their responsibilities also include building and maintaining mechanical systems, and involve the use of a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities: Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals. Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring, and testing instruments. Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed. Operating a variety of hand and power tools. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Performing general maintenance work on facilities as assigned. Other related duties as assigned. Immediate opening. Full-Time Employment Status. This position requires an 8-hour workday, Monday - Friday (evening shift available). Additional hours and/or days based on demand. Position will have a set schedule. Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements: Basic computer skills. Ability to understand and communicate in English. (verbal/written) Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas. (4 feet and above) Minimum of one year of experience with industrial electrical knowledge and mechanical maintenance trades. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice. PLC experience preferred, but not required.
