We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals in the Chicagoland area to join our team as IT Field Technicians . Whether you have previous experience or are looking to learn something new, this role offers a great opportunity to earn while you work on-site with clients.This is a contractor role, you will be paid per assignment, not per hour. Starting at $30 per hour for each assignment, you have the potential to earn up to $1,000 or more per week based on the number of jobs you complete. We provide comprehensive training , so no prior experience in IT is necessary. Key Responsibilities: Perform Network Setup and Troubleshooting : Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware like routers, switches, and run Ethernet cables. Support Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems : Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS systems, printers, and other peripheral devices. Handle Hardware Installations and Repairs : Set up or upgrade computers, laptops, and other hardware for small businesses. Deliver On-Site Technical Support : Provide hands-on troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient problem resolution. Document and Report Work : Accurately record all work completed and communicate with clients regarding the status of their systems.
