The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, including legal research, writing, and client interaction. The role involves preparing cases for USCIS, representing clients in EOIR Immigration Court, and handling a variety of immigration matters.Location:Clifton, NJDuties:Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to immigration matters.Represent clients before USCIS and the EOIR Immigration Court.Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients regarding immigration options and strategies.Communicate with clients regarding case updates and progress.Prepare and file applications for various immigration benefits, including visas, green cards, and asylum petitions.Attend client meetings and assist in case preparation.Ensure compliance with all immigration laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of one year of experience practicing immigration law.Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar.Strong legal writing skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:New Jersey Bar License (Required)Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.Familiarity with immigration law, including family-based, employment-based, and removal defense cases.Ability to handle a diverse caseload with varying levels of complexity.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Fluency in Spanish (preferred).Benefits:401(k) retirement planHealth insurancePaid time off (PTO) Since two decades ago, this law firm has successfully represented individuals with their immigration needs.
