Location: Ann Arbor, MI Coach Needed For: My Child Sport: Running Events Interested In: Cross Country, Middle Distance Athlete Age: 15-18 Athlete Gender: Male Training Availability: Monday: 6pm-10pm Tuesday: 6pm-10pm Wednesday: 6pm-10pm Thursday: 6pm-10pm Friday: 6pm-10pm Saturday: Anytime Sunday: Anytime Note from Client: Hello My son is a cross country sophomore in high school that could use some help getting out from a "funk". He had pneumonia 3 week weeks ago, (ran two 5k races with it) however seems to have since recovered. He has been running the last 3 weeks, just at a slower pace. He attempted a longer, typical run this weekend and said he couldn't do 2 miles without walking. No problems breathing. He's been very hard on himself. He's already telling himself he cannot do it, and doesn't think he should run a meet this Tuesday.We are looking for someone that can give him words of encouragement/advice, supplemental coaching and possibly a plan moving forward for the remaining season. We are located in Ann Arbor, Michigan so the expectation is this will be done online. Thank you to anyone that can help!
