Currently, we have an immediate opening for an HVAC Service Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of energy systems and equipment including HVAC and electrical. This person will also perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and efficiency of energy systems for residential and commercial clients in Ridgefield, Danbury, and New Milford area. What We Offer: Competitive pay Paid holidays and 3 weeks of PTO Medical and dental insurance - 70% employer contribution Long-term and short-term disability - 70% employer contribution 401k with a 3% match Company vehicle Uniforms provided Professional development Employee appreciation events Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour- Depending on Experience $50 payout each on-call shift regardless of calls; if called into the field, will receive time and a half Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, some overtime as needed Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED B2 or S2 License Certification or licensure in HVAC, electrical, or a related field Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and electrical systems Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree, vocational training in HVAC, electrical technology, or a related field Additional certifications in refrigeration, controls, or renewable energy systems Prior experience in energy efficiency upgrades or retrofit projects Knowledge of building automation systems and controls Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the energy industry Willingness to pursue continuing education and training opportunities Experience with software tools for scheduling and inventory management Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment Please do not call or walk-in the office.
