YOUR TYPICAL DAY As an HVAC and Plumbing Project Estimator, your day begins with a team huddle, setting the stage for a productive day. You check your task list and emails, prioritizing estimates and project coordination. Mid-morning, you might head to a job site to gather essential project information, ensuring your estimates are accurate and comprehensive. Back at the office, you consult with clients and team members, review blueprints, and create detailed cost estimates. Your afternoons involve following up on estimates, managing material orders, and ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Throughout the day, you maintain excellent communication with customers, providing prompt and professional service. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing estimating or a similar role Basic knowledge of plumbing, electric, and HVAC systems Strong understanding of building codes and regulations Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred: Experience using ServiceTitan SCHEDULE Your typical work hours as an HVAC and Plumbing Project Estimator are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility required for early starts or late finishes depending on workload, meetings, and training sessions. In this estimation position, you'll enjoy a mix of office work, onsite visits, and hybrid opportunities, ensuring a varied and engaging work environment.
