Cascadia Metals Inc, our US Division, is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Human Resources Manager who will oversee personnel and daily operations of the human resources department working out of our Longview location. Responsibilities: Serves as the first line contact for employees and management related to all Human Resources activities. Coordinates and delivers quality overall HR support to ensure requests are met in a timely manner related to recruitment, staffing, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, and other HR-related services as needed. Develops strong employee relations at all levels of the organization; balances employee advocacy with business needs Assesses and prioritizes functional workforce needs and collaborate with management in identifying solutions and leading their implementation. Builds and implements best-in-class capabilities to support the leadership team in developing and acquiring the right talent. Provides management with coaching and consulting support in all areas of talent management, including selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement, and talent retention. Engages in ongoing assessment of HR process effectiveness and identification of improvement opportunities and solutions. May lead or coordinate special projects as assigned. Performs other duties that support the overall objective of the position. Requirements: Knowledge of: Human Resources laws, regulations, and best practices; HR department processes, policies, and procedures; Microsoft Office Suite. Skill in: Building trusted partnerships; developing interpersonal relationships with leadership and colleagues; working as a team member; communicating effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Ability to: Work in a fast-paced environment; prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines. We recognize the importance of supporting our employees.
