Human Resources Generalist

Description:
Professional Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years of progressive HR Management experience. Proficiency with HR and benefit systems (i.e. Paylocity, ADP, Principal, Benefitmall, etc.). Core Functions: Develop and maintain HR policies and programs in compliance with employment laws, collaborating with leadership to align and communicate strategies with organizational goals. Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and other company-specific benefits. Partner with managers and leadership on performance management, employee development, and disciplinary processes. Manage end-to-end payroll process, including timesheet review and approval, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payrolls while overseeing deductions, benefits contributions, and addressing employee payroll concerns. Mediate disputes, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions that align with company policies. Conduct new hire orientation to provide an overview of company policies, culture, and key procedures, ensuring new employees are prepared to integrate smoothly into their roles. Conduct structured exit interviews for departing employees and manage all offboarding tasks. Support salary reviews, implementation of incentive programs, and other compensation planning activities. Lead workplace safety programs and ensure legal compliance through effective training initiatives, audits, and managing employment contracts and comprehensive HR documentation. Analyze HR data and generate reports to guide decision-making on staffing, compensation, and employee engagement. Manage administrative HR tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records, tracking employee time and attendance, and ensuring data integrity across HR systems. Conduct workforce planning and succession planning to support organizational growth and ensure continuity in key positions. Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, coordinating facility maintenance, and ensuring a productive and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Core Competencies: Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, and guide and mentor teams to achieve their best performance while aligning with organizational objectives. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring precision in HR documentation and processes. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences. Assumes ownership of tasks, anticipates needs, actively seeks opportunities to improve HR processes, and demonstrates flexibility and resilience in responding to changing situations. Extensive experience in HR technology systems, including ADP payroll software and recruitment/performance management modules. Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite and various HR and benefits management platforms to support efficient HR operations. Strong analytical abilities to solve complex HR challenges and make informed decisions that align with company policies and goals.
