Utility Supply & Construction Co (USC) is seeking to hire a HR Onboarding Specialist to join our growing team! Essential Job Functions: Facilitate and coordinate new hire orientations, ensuring a positive and informative experience. Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, answering questions and addressing concerns during the onboarding process. Collect and process new hire documentation, including I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, and license verifications. Coordinate with various departments to ensure new hires have the necessary resources start their roles successfully. Monitor and evaluate the onboarding process, collecting feedback to continually improve the experience for future hires. Enter and maintain accurate employee information in the company HRIS. Ensure completeness and compliance of employee records. Generate HR reports as needed for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Address basic employee inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of experience in an HR, onboarding, or employee engagement role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and other onboarding-related tools or platforms. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in developing and delivering training or orientation sessions (preferred).
