Job Title: HR Advisor Location: Blackburn, Lower Philips Road, BB1 5UD (Hybrid 3 days in office) Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full Time, 12 month contract Positions Available: 1 Positions Available About Us: We are one of the fastest growing Pet Food manufacturers in the UK with offices and manufacturing sites based in Lancashire, Somerset and South Wales. Our products range from Food, Treats, Toys, Accessories, Health and Hygiene. Our portfolio of brands includes: Webbox, Webbox Naturals, Bob Martin, Felight, Meatiful, Tasty Bone, Spikes and Wild Things. About the role: Reporting to the Group HR Manager, and working with a HR Administrator, the HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting and managing the day to day HR transactions across our Blackburn sites. Key Responsibilities: First point of contact for general HR queries Completing investigation procedures and providing advice on disciplinary matters Supporting with recruitment across all sites (from advertising roles to offers and onboarding) Manage onboarding process and carry out inductions across the business with new starters Conduct exit interviews will all leavers Support with payroll checks and queries Support with the development and implementation of HR working processes. Maintain confidentiality and provide a confidential platform for employees to talk about their issues in the workplace Monitor and report on key HR Data / KPIs such as attrition rates, sickness absence etc working with the Group HR Manager to identify and address any underlying issues Update and issue key company policies and procedures, ensuring they are read, understood and signed to accept Keep up to date with changes in employment law to support in ensuring we remain compliant Employee relations and support colleague engagement activities Support with ad hoc duties and project work About You: Broad HR generalist experience CIPD qualified / qualified through experience with minimum 3 years.
