Hotel Laundry Attendant

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. If you’re friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done, apply now! Responsibilities: • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the Director of Suite Operations if any are running low• Load all laundry into the washer and add specific cleaning agents according to the directions• Dry all laundry according to the cycles set• Treat any stained linen according to the stain• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify Maintenance and Director of Suite Operations of any issues Qualifications: • Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis• Possess a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent• 1 or more years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper, or similar role is strongly desired• Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products Compensation: $12 hourly About Company: The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tifton is Tifton’s only all-suite hotel, seamlessly blending exceptional service and functional design - offering the modern amenities our guests need and expect to stay refreshed and focused during their travels.
