Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone willing to be the brand's voice and manage the marketing budget to produce property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral that will generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities: • Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business• Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization• Analyze market trends to determine pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand• Develop and train your team to better serve your customers • Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans Qualifications: • Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role• Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices• This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred• Prior hotel sales experience required, preferred directors level experience About Company: Delta Hotels by Marriott creates a seamless travel experience in more than 90 locations across North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean.
