A Hospitalist Physician Internal Medicine practice is seeking a qualified physician for Quincy, IL. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. ***Quincy, IL***Please ensure the providers are aware once fully staffed there will be coverage 24/7 in house and no call.------------------ This is a 7 on 7 off program with the providers in house for 12 hours and take call at night from home. ------------------ When we move to the 4 FT MD's and the 2 NP's it will be 24/7 in house.------------------ 1 provider and NP on during day one provider at night. ------------------ Encounter volume ranges from 12-22 during day and 3-4 admissions at night. ------------------ NP"S will see 8-10 depending on ability. NP's cover the TCU for calls during the day. ------------------ Those patients are formally seen twice a week. Encounters 4-10. ------------------ Not every patient is seen when rounds are done in TCU it depends on acuity and needs. ------------------ NP's work 7/7 10 hour days under new model. --There are no procedures and typically very sick patients are transferred to Springfield. Service lines available for consultation include Cardiology, Ortho, General surgery, and Internal Medicine that does the ICU care although it is an open ICU. The ED is pretty good about transferring patients that we do not have sub-specialty support for. Providers do their own billing thru Sound Connect.
