This position is performed following all Parker Hannifin Standard Operating Procedures and Safety regulations and practices. The incumbent contributes to and participates in a strong team environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *Sets up and operates hose welder and bonding equipment, hose re-spool equipment and assembly equipment according to engineering specifications; performs quality testing where required. *Determines appropriate feeds and temperature settings for proper welds and cutoffs. Determines appropriate changeover of tooling in ensuring proper dimensions according to specifications. *Documents, logs, compiles reports as required and/or requested. *Monitors machines and process, reporting irregularities to VSTL for problem identification and resolution. *Participates in area and process team projects and activities. *Performes or assists with other duties as assigned. Education, Training and Experience *HS diploma or GED *Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Knowledge and Skills *Mathematical aptitude and proficiency *Keyboarding skills, with some knowledge of MS Office software *Ability to operate manual and electric jack; Company will train *Measurement skills, including use of precision measuring tools and equipment *Ability to read blueprints and set-up sheets *Attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvement *Effective English verbal communication and listening skills *Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure *Successful prioritizing and management of work projects Physical Demands *Extended periods of sitting/standing at work station *Grasping, reaching, stretching, eye/hand coordination, climbing *Visual acuity *Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) *Frequent lifting/moving of objects up to 30 Lbs., occasional lifting/moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
