Hematologist/Oncologist needed in Michigan City, IN_x000D_1 hour to Chicago, IL_x000D_Located on Beautiful Lake Michigan_x000D x000D_Full time, permanent_x000D x000D_Physician will have support of an experienced local team of colleagues and will have the opportunity to serve as a leader in the ongoing growth and development of the oncology service line in the Michigan City market area. _x000D x000D_Our full service, comprehensive cancer treatment center includes:_x000D_Infusion Center_x000D_Radiation Oncology with Trilogy Linear Accelerator and new TruBeam Linear Accelerator with Hyperarc and Identify_x000D_Neurosurgery and treatment on site_x000D_Physicist on site_x000D_Pharmacy onsite_x000D_Nurse Navigators_x000D_Research_x000D_Palliative Care NPs_x000D_Social Worker onsite_x000D_Monthly Tumor Board_x000D_ _x000D_WHAT WE NEED:_x000D_Ideal candidate will have experience in Hematology Oncology, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidates will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physicians will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care, displaying passion and energy for fostering an environment of clinical and service excellence._x000D x000D_WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:_x000D_Hematology Oncology Board Certified_x000D_Clinic schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m._x000D_Physician will have 36 hours of patient contact weekly with possibility of 4 day work week_x000D_Weekday, Weekend and Holiday Call: 1:3_x000D_Additional time off through the week when you have weekend call_x000D_Anticipated outpatient volume: patients per day_x000D_Common Cancer Diagnoses:_x000D_Breast_x000D_Colon_x000D_Lung_x000D_Rectal_x000D_Prostate_x000D_Benign Hematology conditions_x000D_
