We are seeking an experienced Heavy Lift Engineer for our Canadian Industrial district office located in Edmonton, AB. Here's how a(n) Heavy Lift Engineer for our Edmonton Industrial Management office contributes to our team: Responsibilities Prepare detailed construction engineering designs following standards, codes, policies, specifications, and regulations: Crane lift studies Rigging arrangements Lifting devices Jack & slide installations Developing drawings, calculations, visualizations, risk backssments and other important documents in both 2D and 3D Evaluate and select heavy lifting equipment Determine optimal sequence of construction for heavy lifting on industrial construction projects Work with project teams from conceptual and preliminary stages of execution through execution to completion Ensure quality compliance for your engineering design work by maintaining design/checking notes according to professional practice management plan procedures and regulatory requirements Complete design checks and independent reviews of other engineers’ work Provide heavy lift engineering support to active projects, including conducting site visits to complete field reviews of heavy lift engineering designs and provide on-site.
