Buxmont Academy is seeking a dynamic Health & PE Teacher to join our team at the Sellersville, PA campus. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11am to 3pm. Additional hours may be available if desired. Hourly rate is $25 an hour. Benefits include 401K retirement plan, ACT 48 Credit professional development offerings, Employee Assistance Program, and the opportunity to receive a free graduate certificate in restorative practices from the IIRP Graduate School. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of bachelor's degree in health & PE, Exercise Science, or a health-related field, and PA teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. Passion for teaching secondary school students, with experience or interest in adapting lessons to diverse developmental needs. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations. Comfortable using educational technology and digital tools for classroom instruction and student engagement We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers.
