Role: Health and Safety Manager Location: Harrogate: with travel across Yorkshire : Hybrid Salary: GBP 50,000 : GBP 65,000 + car allowance Do you want to join a growing H and S consultancy, specialising in manufacturing, engineering, and construction with an enviable client, ranging from start: ups to multi: nationals. This is a newly created role, to support my client's growth strategy. A hybrid role with frequent travel to client sites and offices. They have a true partnership with clients, acting as an extension of their internal H and S function. Your role will be to two fold: Firstly managing the team, allowing the Directors to focus on client development and secondly, providing their client base with a high standard of consultancy services, in a front facing, hands on role. They offer H and S consultancy services, building and developing management systems, policies, and procedures. Certification support, H and S training, PUWER, H and S support for construction projects, CDM advice, permitting, site inspections, accident / incident investigation, environmental support, business improvement / strategic support for clients. Main Responsibilities: : : Day to day management of the team and the client base. : Assist clients with the development of a H and S Management System. (Policies, risk backssments, and safe systems of work, etc). : Conducting construction site inspections and providing detailed reports of findings with recommendations for the client to implement. : CDM Advice : Managing designated client base. Including recurring appointments, document reviews, updates, etc. : Provide H and S training to clients : Conduct accident investigations and assist with any RIDDOR requirements in conjunction with the client. : Assist the client when dealing with enforcement agencies.
