Position Overview: We are seeking a determined and ambitious Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in a transitional role, with a clear path to becoming a Health and Safety Manager. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well: being of our workforce while contributing to the continued success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards and compliance issues. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety and adherence to regulations. Provide training and support to employees on health and safety best practices. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions. Keep abreast of industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in health and safety. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator within the construction industry. Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc. ) preferred. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
