The successful candidate will oversee our financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and contribute to our strategic decision-making process. Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Lead the accounting operations, upholding compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Policy Management: Develop, maintain, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Budgeting & Reporting: Conduct annual budgeting and deliver precise financial reports to the leadership team. Team Leadership: Supervise day-to-day tasks within the accounting team, covering payable and receivable accounts and payroll. Audit Coordination: Organize and manage the annual audit, collaborating with external auditors. Strategic Input: Participate actively in financial planning and strategy sessions, driving fiscal effectiveness. System Improvement: backss and ameliorate accounting software and processes enhancing efficiency. Interdepartmental Support: Provide financial advice and support across the company. Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of accounting standard amendments, ensuring seamless compliance. Qualifications & Experience Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA is an advantage. Work Experience: At least 5 years in a senior financial management role, with a comprehensive accounting and financial expertise. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and systems, knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Team Management: Successful leadership and team development experiences are crucial.
