HCC Coding Team Lead

Description:
A company is looking for an HCC Team Lead to oversee coding and auditing processes related to medical records. Key Responsibilities Review medical records to abstract ICD-10 codes related to HCCs, RxHCCs, and ESRD models Assist in the education and training of coders and resolve QA disputes Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and internal policies while maintaining coding credentials Required Qualifications Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) Minimum of 2 years of coding experience Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to navigate various EMR environments and review hand-written charts Associate degree or higher in a healthcare-related field is preferred
