SUMMARY Acts as ambassador for Guest Services and the Resort Property, also controls the overall work product of the Guest Services Department (Bell/Door/Valet/Drivers/Concierge). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ¨ Compliance with all CFI policies and procedures ¨ Represents Westgate Resorts in a professional manner at all times ¨ Responsible for the hiring, advising, coaching, disciplinary actions and termination of employees ¨ Staff training ¨ Provide exemplary customer service both personally and through his/her entire staff to resort guests. ¨ Ensure the staff takes complete and accurate phone messages for the Guest Service Reps. ¨ Keeps a shift logbook of all daily check-ins ¨ Responsible for assuring a smooth check-in and checkout ¨ Coordinate the support staff and their daily duties ¨ Oversee the final product of the schedule ¨ Interact between departments to insure accurate resort info is communicated between departments ¨ Handle guest and employee situations in the departments and assist in solving situations for other Front office departments. ¨ Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Assignments include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION and/or BACKGROUND High-school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 mnths related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background. LANGUAGE SKILLS Expertise to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Expertise to write simple correspondence. Expertise to effectively present details in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Expertise to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Expertise to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING EXPERTISE Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Expertise to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current Utah Driver License PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the required functions of this job.
