Group Cyber Threat Hunt Analyst Job Purpose Ardagh Group is seeking a highly motived, self: driven Cyber Threat Hunt Specialist to join a global threat team. The role will be based in either London, United Kingdom or Dublin, Ireland. The position will report to Group Cyber Threat Manager and will involve technical research, analyzing and correlating large data sets to uncover threats and attack techniques. The Hunt Specialist will be tasked with collaborating with Cyber Threat Intelligence, DFIR team, and Red Team, along with the wider security team to proactively hunt and mitigate threats by cyberattacks. The role will also include developing and documenting new and innovation threat hunt hypotheses to increase the team's ability to find existing threats. The role will also be expected to actively share knowledge and mentor more junior members of the Threat team. The role will work with all Group Cyber operational and technical teams to gain insight into critical security controls and architectural specifics to develop valuable hunt strategies and analytics that identify malicious behavior accurately while maintain a low false positive rate. This role will provide influence and backssments on the design of detective, preventive, and proactive controls. Job Description : Direct experience performing threat hunting in an active corporate environment: Plan and scope threat hunt missions to very threat hypotheses developed with Threat Intelligence to produce threat models that better understand the organization's gaps and help prioritize mitigation: Experience analyzing system, network, and application logging for attack techniques at all stages of the cyber kill chain. Direct experience with very large datasets and log analysis tools. Work with Group Cyber Threat teams including the intelligence team to backss threat actor tradecraft and develop appropriate countermeasures: Build and maintain a threat detection library: Author and maintain playbooks.
