Job Description Do you love to cook? Are you passionate about food? We are seeking a Grill Cook, part-time, to join the team at Manulife on Joseph Howe Drive! As a Grill Cook on our team, you’ll help bring recipes to life while being able to flex your creativity! Reporting to the Manger, the Grill Cook is responsible for the preparation and production of all menu items on the grill station within Manulife's cafe. The starting wage for this position is $17.50 per hour with a part-time, Monday to Friday schedule. Job Responsibilities Preps and cooks food in accordance with the menu, using grills, fryers, and ovens May support front line team in serving customers Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of work area Assists with culinary auditing, temperature checking of food items within kitchen, stations, fridge’s and freezers Ensure adherence to Aramark policies and procedures Shall attend all safety meetings and participate in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response Procedures Additional duties may be assigned Qualifications 1+ years short order cook/grill cook experience Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised Must be able to lift, push, pull minimum 25lbs Aramark Canada offers medical and dental benefits, employee meal plan, complimentary uniforms and safety shoes, up to 50% educational reimbursement, scholarships, professional development opportunities and more!
