Graphic Design Specialist- Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana We are searching for a full-time (40-45 hours) Graphic Design Specialist (RMHCCIN) to add to our team. No previous experience with a non-profit is required- we are looking for someone able to leverage their skills to advance our branding and digital presence. If you have a desire to work alongside mission-driven people and have excellent graphic design and photography skills, this position is for you! About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana Since 1982, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana (RMHCCIN) has offered families a place to stay while their sick or injured children receive care at hospitals in Indianapolis. RMHCCIN serves as a home for families to sleep, eat, and seek respite when they need it most. The compassionate, service-oriented individuals who join the RMHCCIN team are given the amazing opportunity to make an impact that will continue to resonate with families long after they return home. A Day in the Life of a Graphic Design Specialist The Graphic Design Specialist supports the efforts of the Advancement Department's marketing and communications function, which is responsible for activities including publications, website management, brand messaging and awareness, social media, and other support programs for the House. The position requires a passion for the mission of the House, as well as a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and social media. What You Need to Qualify for this Job 1-3 years experience in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash) for PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in photography and videography desired. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, art or graphic design, or equivalent certification and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities to communicate across diverse audiences, and strong commitment to internal and external customer service. Work Schedule This job will require that you work from our main location, on weekdays during normal business hours (9-5 PM).
